The RED collection of photographs and prints just released

I hope that this finds each of you well.

I've always loved a wee colour pop, of my photos. I guess that probably started shortly after I started capturing images as part of my street photography phase, capturing the image and quickly transforming my favourites into monochrome.

What became apparent was that I'm not cut out for street - even though I love nothing better than the look (where you can almost smell the very essence) of a monochrome street image.

Fast forward through many phases (some circular! and lasting several years) and here I am, modifying some of my images back into good old monochrome, this time, with a twist. A wee colour pop - normally red, for some obscure reason, I seem to prefer that.

Having spent the last few weeks trawling my library of images, choosing some favourites and popping the RED element within it. I've chosen six (as my starting point) and just released these as part of the RED collection to the website - one such is this attached to the blog. 'The Crossing' which captures a Western Ferry, travelling from Gourock to Dunoon and into a cloud inversion. I hope you like it as much as I do.

I've also recently started to complete commissions, most of which, at the moment, seem to be focused on the Vintage Travel Style - watch out for some future blogs, highlighting how these look.
